Long Stratton Council
The Town Council is made up of members who all live in the village and surrounding areas and represent the village on various matters.
We are effectively the third tier of local government, the other two being Norfolk County Council and South Norfolk District Council. Find out more about the Council.
Long Stratton
The village is situated halfway between the county city, Norwich, and the market town of Diss; along the Roman built road, the A140 which runs from Cromer (North Norfolk) to Ipswich (Suffolk).

Central Toilets
Long Stratton Town Council and South Norfolk District Council agreed to Long Stratton Town Council adopting the Central Toilets keeping them as a vital community asset. Currently they are still the responsibility of South Norfolk whilst the refurbishment work is being carried out. South Norfolk are in the process of finding a contractor to undertake the work. I will keep you updated as we know more.
Street Lights
Long Stratton Town Council are responsible for some of the street lights.

Neighbourhood Plan
The Long Stratton Neighbourhood Plans pre-submission consultation stage (regulation 14) took place on 12th October 2019 until 7th December 2019. The steering group are currently reviewing all the responses.
