Long Stratton Drainage Works – Temporary Road Closures from 6 July 2026

Drainage works will be taking place on the edge of Long Stratton from Monday 6 July, temporarily affecting some access routes around the town.

Norwich Road will be closed to southbound traffic at the Church lane roundabout for 5 days from Monday 6 July. Northbound travel out of the town centre will remain unaffected by the closure. A signed diversion route will be available via the A140 bypass, Edges Lane roundabout, Parkers Lane and Norwich Road.

Following this, Church Lane will be closed to all traffic at its junction with the A140 bypass for 3 days from Monday 13 July. A signed diversion route will be available via the A140, B1527, Brick Kiln Lane and Church Road.

All A140 Bypass traffic will be unaffected by both closures.
