(THARSTON AND HAPTON) (EMERGENCY NOTICE)

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTION 2021

Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 – Section 14(2)

 

 

In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to a burst water main the use by vehicles of the C345 Forncett Road from its junction with the U76123 Chequers Road north-eastwards for a distance of 60 metres in the PARISH OF THARSTON AND HAPTON will be temporarily prohibited from 19th April to 23rd April 2021 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 5 days within the period. If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 21 days.

 

 

Alternative route is via: Forncett Road, Station Road, Low Road, Aslacton Road, Muir Lane , Woodrow Lane, Station Road, Moulton Road, B1134 Station Road , A140 Ipswich Road, Swan Lane.  Parishes affected by alternative route: Wacton, Tharston and Hapton, Great Moulton, Pulham Market, Long Stratton, Forncett, Aslacton, Tivetshall.

(FORNCETT) (EMERGENCY NOTICE)

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTION 2021

Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 – Section 14(2)

 

 

In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to Anglian Water repairs to a burst water main the use by vehicles of the U76032 Bustards Green from its junction with U76238 Buttles Lane, for 293 metres westwards in the PARISH OF FORNCETT will be temporarily prohibited from 30th April to 7th May 2021 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 8 days within the period. If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 21 days.

 

 

Alternative route is via: Bustards Green, Wacton Road, Station Road, Forncett Road, Chequers Road, Flowerpot Lane, Stratton Road, Church Road (Forncett, Wacton, Tharston and Hapton, Long Stratton).

NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the C497 Low Tharston from its junction with C497 The Street for a distance of 650 metres South eastwards in the PARISH OF THARSTON AND HAPTON because of Norfolk County Council carriageway resurfacing works.

 

 

The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) between 07:00 to 19:00 from 24th May 2021 to 25th May 2021 for the duration of the works expected to be about 2 days within the period.  

 

 

Alternative route is via: The Street, Fundenhall Road, Hapton Road, B1113 The Turnpike, B1113 Norwich Road, B1113 The Street B1113 Norwich Road, B1113 Main Road,B1113 Mulbarton Road, A140 Ipswich Road, A140 Norwich Road, A140 Ipswich Road, Bungay Road, Low Tharston (Newton Flotman, Bracon Ash, Caistor St. Edmund and Bixley, Swainsthorpe, Ashwellthorpe and Fundenhall, Saxlingham Nethergate, Mulbarton, Tharston and Hapton, Stoke Holy Cross, Tasburgh, Long Stratton, Swardeston, Keswick and Intwood, Wreningham).

NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the U76032 Wacton Road from its junction with C345 Station Road for 355m southwards in the PARISH OF FORNCETT because of water mains connection works.

 

 

The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 9th to 11th June 2021 for the duration of the works expected to be about 3 days within the period.  

 

 

Alternative route is via: Wacton Road, Bustards Green, Church Road, Stratton Road, Flowerpot Lane, Chequers Road, Forncett Road, Station Road (Forncett, Wacton, Tharston and Hapton, Long Stratton).

(WACTON) (EMERGENCY NOTICE)

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTION 2021

Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 – Section 14(2)

 

 

In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to access being required to an overhead BT structure to repair service the use by vehicles of the C500 Stratton Road from its junction with U76032 Church Road north eastwards for 500m in the PARISH OF WACTON will be temporarily prohibited from 28th June to 2nd July 2021 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 5 days within the period. If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 21 days.

 

Alternative route is via: Hall Lane Market Lane, Frosts Lane, Frith Way, Lodge Road, B1134 Station Road, A140 Ipswich Road, Flowerpot Lane, Stratton Road (Pulham Market/ Tivetshall/ Wacton/ Tharston and Hapton/ Great Moulton/ Long Stratton).
