Norfolk County Council Temporary Traffic Orders

NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the 1) A140 Ipswich Road from and including its roundabout with the Dickleburgh Bypass southwards to and including its roundabout with Scole Stuston Bypass for a distance of 4087 metres; 2) C592 Ipswich Road from its junction with the A140 Dickleburgh Bypass roundabout north eastwards for a distance of 50 metres; 3) C578 Norwich Road from its junction with the A140 Dickleburgh Bypass roundabout southwards for a distance of 50 metres; 4) A1066 Diss Road from its junction with the A140 Scole Roundabout westwards for a distance of 50 metres; and 5) C581 Diss Road from its joining with A140 Scole Roundabout eastwards for a distance of 50 metres; in the PARISHES OF DICKLEBURGH and SCOLE because of Norfolk County Council carriageway resurfacing works.

 

The roads 1), 2), 3), 4) and 5) will be temporarily closed (except for access) between 20:00 and 06:00 hours from 7th December 2020 to 12th December 2020 for the duration of the works expected to be about 5 nights within the period only whilst traffic signs indicating the closures are in place.

NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the C201 Hardwick Road from its junction with C877 The Street for a distance of 1160 metres north westwards in the PARISH OF STARSTON because of NCC carriageway maintenance.

 

The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 7th December 2020 to 16th December 2020 for the duration of the works expected to be about 10 days within the period.

 

Alternative route is via: Hardwick Road, Starston Road, Port Road, Common Road, Low Road, Blacksmiths Lane, The Green, Mill Road, Hall Lane, A140 Ipswich Road, Tivetshall Road, Tattlepot Road, Bank Street, Harleston Road, Norwich Road, The

Street, Pulham Road (Wacton/ Morningthorpe and Fritton/ Pulham St. Mary/ Starston/ Pulham Market/ Long Stratton/ Shelton and Hardwick/ Tivetshall).

In accordance with the provisions of Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, the Norfolk County Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that owing to Anglian Water repairs to a burst water main the use by vehicles of the U76025 Norwich Road from 490 metres northwest of its junction with U76129 Edges Lane north westwards for a distance of 30 metres in the PARISH OF MORNINGTHORPE AND FRITTON will be temporarily prohibited from 26th October 2020 to 30th October 2020 for the duration of the works, expected to be about 5 days within the period. If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 21 days.

 

 

Alternative route is via: Norwich Road, Brick Kiln Lane, B1527 Hempnall Road, The Street, School Road (Morningthorpe and Fritton/ Long Stratton).

NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the U76025 Brick Kiln Lane from its junction with the U76026 Church Lane for a distance of 20 metres northwards in the TOWN OF LONG STRATTON because of Anglian Water new connection works.                            

 

The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 20th October 2020 to 22nd October 2020 for the duration of the works, expected to be 3 days within the period.

Alternative route is via: Brick Kiln Lane, B1527 Hempnall Road, The Street, Common Lane, School Road, Norwich Road (Morningthorpe and Fritton, Long Stratton). 

NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL has made a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the C355 Hall Lane from its junction with the U76131 Mill Lane for a distance of 30 metres westwards in the TOWN OF LONG STRATTON because of BT access being required to underground structure to provide service.                            

The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) between 09:30 and 15:30 hours on 6th November 2020 for the duration of the works, expected to be 6 hours within the period.

Alternative route is via: Hall Lane, A140 Ipswich Road/ The Street/ Norwich Road, B1527 Hempnall Road, The Street, Middle Road, Blacksmiths Lane, Mill Road (Morningthorpe and Fritton, Long Stratton).
